Insurance Company - Misguiding the customers

Please do not take Health Insurance Policy from Apollo Munich. Reasons: 1) The Agents promoting the products know little and misguide you. They tell less information and hence less charges. Later the Charges will increase. 2) What they till in Media ( Internet) and what they actually do when they deal with customer is totally different. Its a big lying organisation. 3) Even when the issue is brought to the eyes of the Senior Management ( President, CEO ) nothing moves. They too turn blind eye and try to armtwist you. 

Can you take chance with such a company when it comes to your health? 

Stay Away from Apollo Munich

I paid for the individual health insurance for my Parents on 28th June 2011..Initially it looked as a decent plan at a cheap cost. 
After 2 weeks medical test were conducted...i cant describe how much issues i faced during the health check up.. 
There was no communication at all from the company to the hospital(health chkup centre).. my parents were stranded at the hospital in the morning ..as fasting blood sugar has to be tested..they were waiting there for more than an hour with empty stomachs.. 
After 2 weeks of the check up i came to know that my dads policy has been rejected..and i have to pay rs 1500 approx extra for my mothers policy as loading charges.. 
As per them my parents had some medical issues (which i find strange..as they have no health issues).. 
I received policy for my mother 2 days back ie on 3rd august..nd still waiting for therefund amount .. 
i have to call the customer service guys everyday..i get an answer that i will receive the amount in 2-3 days.. 
they have no responsibility once they get the money.. u have to call them and ask about the status of the policy.. 
I wanted to opt for Max Bupa..but it was expensive..maybe for my dad i ill go for max.. 
i dunt know about Max’s reviews..but Apollo can be avoided!!

Online Renewal it is a Fraud

I held health insurance policy and my renewal is done online
my account is debited and it is showing it is xfered to account "APOLLOGENINS"
even after 10 days neither my policy is renewed nor I got back my amount
any online xfer will reflect within one day...there were so many calls and mails done to their office
no response
customer service is really frustrating, they dont know anything and they cannot give any resolution except some standard replies
it is such a frustrating experience on simple things like renewal...fighting to get back my money
dont ever go with these people

How Apollo Munich dupes people

One the the worst insurance companies is Apollo Munich. First incident is that the medical test done showed fasting blood sugar 84 mg/dl. To be honest we declared pre -existing illness as Diabetes. They rejected the application. reason sighted "Diabetes". 

In another incident in my family is that all medical test were normal and still rejected. reason High BMI.

Hence this guys want to give insurance only for the most healthy people. Waste of time, waste of money for the medical test etc.

Apollo Munich Poor Customer Service

I had applied for health insurance cover for my mother and got her medical tests done. Her application was rejected on account of her ECG report. The sales agent had promised me to provide me the soft copy of the report within 2 days of the test. After multiple follow ups for the report and waiting for about 8 days; the sales agent directed me to the customer care. If the sales agent didnt have access to the reports, then the same should have been communicated to me on day 1rather than after 8 days of multiple calls and follow ups. Anyway, the customer care mentioned another max 2 weeks but no time frame for any urgent request..I am still awaiting the report 

Since the reason for decline was her ECG report, we were very concerned and wanted to have the report asap so as to assess and compare it with her new ECG test. 

If this is the TAT and service they provide for sending the reports, I really wonder how they would be handling the claims and how much follow up would be required. And if there is a problem in ECG, should they not immediately send the report rather than making the customer do multiple follow ups. 

Highly disappointed .

Never get claim-Thats the last word for ApolloMunich

 have taken apollo for my father ,mother and 2 cousin brothers and aunt . Two of my cousins was admitted in hospital but never got the claim. Still i kept on renewing . Then my dad got admitted then also they didn give the claim. Last i have lost hope on this insurance company and never wiill renew it and tell my relatives not to renew it . YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR CLAIM..

Apollo Munich Sucks. Highly Unprofessional Company

Apollo Munich says “lets uncomplicate” but after sale they will make your life more complicated. Apollo Munich is Highly unprofessional company. These people are making fool. When they will sell you their products that time they will commit 24*7 support but when you call them no one will respond you on time even they will not reply your after your so many follow ups.
